i LOVE seaweed & don’t know what took me so long to do something about it. this is not the classic seaweed salad you may be used to in a typical japanese restaurant. it has tart apple in it. i used wakame & arame-2 very different types. i also substituted black rice vinegar for regular & used sesame chili oil instead. this is fantastic & unbelievably healthy & light on a hot day. one tip-be sure you buy seaweed from off the coast of maine. any old seaweed can be very toxic, especially if you decide to add this delicacy to your daily diet. this is really easy to make & keeps for a long time. you just have to stock up on your asian condiments & you are all set to go. the possibilities are endless with this dish.
