i’ve been getting “tasting table” chef recipes in my inbox. it’s a daily newsletter that covers the best in local restaurants & all that is related.  i modified this one from paris based chef  david lebovitz for chocolate chip cookies. he just released a dessert cookbook-ready for dessert-my best recipes
i went with 6 oz. milk chocolate, 6 oz. semi-sweet & 2 cups toasted hazlenuts. i also dropped them by spoonfull instead of rolling, chilling & cutting. the dough is very firm & has to be kneaded by hand. a spoon can’t do the job.
these are most excellent & very simple.
