yesterday’s main dish & side are from my new orleans friends anthony & gail. the chicken recipe is named after their daughter donna. it’s her favorite dish.

donna-oh-donna’s glazed chicken

1 T bbq sauce
1 T mustard
1 1/2 t red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp hot sauce
dash worstichire
1 T olive oil
salt
black pepper
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

combine bbq, mustard, vinegar, hot sauce, worstishire, cook breasts seasoned with salt & pepper in pan over low. glaze with sauce each side.

broccoli italian style

1 bunch broccoli (i used mexican style)
1 T. butter
2 T. evoo
3 garlic cloves sliced thin
fresh grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese to taste
salt
black pepper

steam broccoli
melt butter & olive oil, garlic salt & pepper. put in broccoli. sautee it to your liking. add the cheese last & mix. heaven.

and because i had a giant idaho potato, i did half of half a recipe of carmelized onion & horseradish mash potatoes from supercook
